Project Description

Dr. Fritsen participated in the National Science Foundation's Teachers Experiencing Antartica (TEA)program during the 1998-1999 Field Season, in which teachers are selected to travel to the Antarctic and the Arctic for a field season to participate in ongoing research. TEA is a partnership between teachers, researchers, students, the school district, and the community. Dr. Fritsen's research team included Elissa Elliot, one of the teachers chosen by the TEA program. The research was conducted at the McMurdo Dry Valleys in Antarctica.
